Jewellery Designer’s Collective Launching
@ Treasure, Covent Garden 12-14 June
Twenty members of JeDeCo: Jewellery Designer’s Collective will participate in our much heralded launch event at Treasure, the visionary jewellery exhibition in the heart of Covent Garden, 12-14 June 2009, during Coutts London Jewellery Week.
Satisfy your inner genie by trying on all the baubles you could ever wish for in our JeDeCo Try-On Salon, and browse amongst the Hanging Gardens of JeDeCo as jewellery literally cascades from the ceiling. You will have the chance to commission our talented designers to make you something unique or to buy exquisitely crafted designer jewellery direct from the makers, from diamond-set fine jewellery to pieces at the experimental edge of jewellery design.
You are also invited to relax in our JeDeCo Try-On Salon and sip a cocktail as you leaf through our Look Books, and can ask the designers any questions you may have about jewellery design, making, and about the commissioning process.
Furthermore you can win one of 20 fabulous pieces of jewellery or a parcel of ten diamonds in our JeDeCo Treasure Pot competition!

Wow! Jewels for Village London
A selling exhibition of contemporary jewellery celebrating London’s village life.
Meet the makers - the jewellers will be on hand to answer your questions or to discuss that special commission.
Jewellery demonstrations - find out more about how a piece of jewellery is made. The highlight of the show will be a collection of specially designed one-off pieces inspired by ‘Village London’.
‘Coutts New Jeweller Award’ winner Alexandra Simpson will be showing her work inspired by nature and Art Nouveau alongside work by the Wow! Jewels, collective and the Jewellery Designer’s Collective.
Whilst viewing a wide range of handcrafted jewellery by the eight designer-makers you can make use of the on site cafe and enjoy the wonderful views across Barnes pond. Prepare to be seduced! Whether choosing a special gift or browsing for pure pleasure there is something to suit everyone’s style and budget. You will find jewellery made from silver, gold and gems to moulded silk, fine silver and crocheted metal.
A jazz duo will be playing at our event on the Friday evening.

The Central St. Martin's Graduates (2008) Open Studio
This open workshop opportunity organised by graduate and Jewellery Designer’s Collective member Jessica de Lotz will showcase degree show work and new pieces from budding designers, fresh from Central St Martin’s.
A diverse range of work will be on display and all under one roof! You are invited to take part in 'Make Do and Mend’ creative workshops for children and adults or learn about jewellery techniques through demonstrations by graduates and members of the 'Jewellery Designer's Collective'.
The beauty of these workshops is, that no money will change hands.
